Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park

Home to Africa’s highest concentration of elephants — estimates range from 50,000 to 130,000 in the greater Chobe ecosystem. The Chobe River frontage between Kasane and Serondela is one of Africa’s great wildlife spectacles: late afternoon boat safaris drift past hundreds of elephants swimming, drinking and playing along the riverbank while lion, buffalo and sable antelope congregate behind. The Savuti marsh and Linyanti wetlands add entirely different ecosystems within the same park.
